Less risk of high vet bills?

give your pet the best kickstart to sustained health

I am currently working on this page! Not all pages on the English website are yet translated to English. As I am creating everything on my website myself you will find some pages still in my mother tongue, Dutch. By the start of 2024 the English part of Pupia should be fully translated!

Love,
Pia

Does this ever cross your mind, dog-& catmom?

Then chances are you also get a sour feeling from all those pills and treatments for which you also get a expencive bill. You don't want your pet to be regularly sick, stressed out or growing up with chronic physical or emotional problems. You don't want a band-aid on the wound but to get off to a good start at once, to make and keep your pet physically and mentally healthy from the inside out.

You feel inside that this can be done differently. As a pet parent, you want to give your furr of-purrbaby the best life he-she deserves. You just want the annual check-up at your vet and that's it. You want to make your pet really happy. In a natural way and without woolly socks. And preferably preventively, so you can save them that much money!

This is how I solve it with my clients:
Not with the standard and often outdated information on pet behavior and medicine.
I do it differently. Since I graduated in 2019 in Chinese medicine for dogs and cats, I look at animals from a holistic perspective, without the goat's wool socks. Which means I put all the puzzle pieces together to make your pet healthy and happy that way. We have to look at everything together to make it work. By connecting and optimizing preventive nutrition, environment, behavior, emotions, etc. you invest in the perfect kick start for your pet, so your pet can be really happy for a long time!

Who am I?

Hello! I am Pia, born and raised in Belgium (Antwerp), famous for its diamants, chocolat and french fries. I am a 90's baby and I've been passionate about animals even since. This passion has only grown after all these years!

I am certified and do continue to train myself on regular basis to learn new things and keep up with the things I already do.

Holistic treatment of your pet means to me looking at all asprects of life and make them as good as possible! Think about emotions, living environment to nutrition and exercise. Do you want to learn more about me? Then click the button below!

My values

Holistic. I look at everything from the whole side of life. This means: nutrition, behaviour, emotion, living environment, exercise, upbringing... By bringing all this together and possibly adjusting it where necessary, we obtain an optimal result!

Modern. Always the most modern vision on your pet. Thanks to further training and a natural passion I will never fall into old theories or old working methods. Old theories like for example the dominance theory, punishment-oriented training... that's a NO GO!

Positive. Here at Pupia, we don't judge. My goal is to help you and 'plant seeds' for those who want it. Only in a positive way. I would like to share all my knowledge with you so that you become the best furrparent you can be.

WHAT CLIENTS SAY ABOUT PUPIA

(Translated from Dutch)

Bach flower review on Facebook :

5 fucking stars! I've been trying for a long time to find something that would make Kamiel, my insecure Stafford-Border Collie cross of 9 years old, less anxious. He has learned nothing but to go straight into fight mode because he was always ignored. Although I have tried very hard over the last few years with a lot of patience, it was not enough. I got to know Pia van Pupia through my dog coach. She immediately knew what my dog needed by just telling his story, no unnecessary stressful visits, etc. So that was ideal for me! I then bought 1 bottle from her, specifically made for Kamiel. And after just under 2 weeks I saw a big difference. In between I also saw that Kamiel was calmer, and went less red. But this time we were able to get him to rest in time and safely. These drops make him feel more relaxed in his alertness and it feels like we can finally continue with dog coaching at a leisurely pace after being stuck for a while.

Bach flower review on Instagram :

Kamiel is very mellow, very calm. Also tail quiet, ears also just straight and quiet. Already 2 days. So that's two weeks. Also less suffering from allergies exactly. Well, there are also few pollen in the air. Not immediately ill as far as I know. So okay huh!

- Annelies C.

Shiatsu review on Facebook :

Thank you for introducing us to the world of shiatsu, hot stones and moor stamps! 😀 Our labrador Bente of 9 years enjoyed it. She struggles with a painful elbow and heel and has osteoarthritis. Each time after the treatment, the walk went smoothly for her. Any pain relief for Bente is positive! 👍 Super Pupia!

Bach flower review on Facebook:

My cat suffered from stress, which gave him bald spots all over his body. He became more afraid and did not feel well in his skin. After using the Bach flowers for a week, he was already cheerful again and started to become a bit happier and the hair is now everyone back. I advise everyone to use Bach flowers and especially those from pupia! Top service and a decent explanation.

Bach flower review on Instagram:

Could it be that the Bach drops have an effect fairly quickly? Because OMG! We really see Fonzie getting more relaxed by the day! He's been eating really badly the past few days. Since yesterday he eats everything again. (So happy about that!!!) Also very striking: he had lost certain old habits, I often missed that predictable way of doing things with him. And now all those things are starting to come back! Visiting us again in the seat / bed, so no longer isolating himself so ... Lie down on his back and stuff. He's really back alterter and all this with such a soft look <3. It's like he's really becoming himself again. 1000x thanks!!!

- Lendy J.

Shiatsu review on Facebook:

"Oby my standard dachshund went there for a Shiatsu treatment and thought it was great! He was immediately at ease and had full confidence in it. He was a bit stiff at the back, and that has completely resolved. He enjoyed the training so much treatment that he almost fell asleep on the spot. When he came home he snored well. Since then he is more playful again and his behavior towards other dogs has also become calmer. So definitely recommended!"

Bach flower review on Facebook:

My Golden Retriever has been getting a combination of Bach flowers custom made by Pia for several weeks now. When you pick up you get a whole explanation and tips on how to use them. From the 1st day there was already clearly visible change in my dog, and then mainly in controlling his stress / nervousness, but this is of course different for every dog. I use the Bach flowers on a piece of meat for the dog, so that it comes into direct contact with the tongue up to 3 times a day, but you choose the frequency yourself. Undoubtedly a very satisfied customer and dog here for a long time.

Bach flower review on Instagram :

I wanted to thank you for the super sweet get well wishes on the bottle!

It's going really well ... everything is going well, both physically and mentally, so I believe you've put together a very good Bach mix, for which I thank you very much!

Very big leg from Fonzie!

- Lendy J.

Shiatsu review on Facebook:

My dog has received some treatments from Pia. She responded very positively to this. She got up less stiffly and was more energetic for several days. Highly recommended!

FAQ

1. What has Pupia to offer for my pet?

You can contact Pupia about nutritional advice for your dog/cat, to have Bach flowers tailor-made for your pet and I also provide nurtur (pet care) advice for puppy's and kittens. Under the button 'services' at the top of the website you will find the most up-to-date offer!

2. Does Pupia treat cats?

Yes sure! I am certified as a cat behaviorist, dog and cat nutritionist and Bach remedy for dogs and CATS!

3. What's the price of the services?

All prices are shown at the individual service. Prices will be visible from january 2024.

4. What does 'modern holistic' mean?

By modern holistic I mean two things: 'Modern' means that I work with the most modern and most recent knowledge. 'Holistic' means that I look at everything in its entirety. We will look at how we can best help your animal from all angles. Such as environment, emotion, nutrition, movement... .

5. Does Pupia has a physical practice?

Currently there is no physical practice. Pupia is an online practice/entreprice, which means that everything is done online. Such as consultations, reports and communication via Google Meet, WhatsApp and email.

6. What if I can only feed kibble to my pet?

You can also contact me if you only feed kibble. Sometimes you don't have space in the freezer or maybe you don't have the financial ability to feed raw food. It may also be better for some animals not to eat raw food. That of course depends on the individual and we look at it during a consultation.

7. My pet is sick, can I come to you?

Only if you went to the vet first! You can't come directly to me when your pet is sick. It is very important that your pet is examined by a vet first. You can email me the reports and blood results afterwards. Then we'll look into them during consult. Friendly reminder: I am NOT a vet! I am a behaviorist and nutritionalist for dogs and cats!

8. My vet says nutrition and/or Bach remedy doesn't work.

Unfortunately, we occasionally come across veterinarians who only want to give their patients kibble (that they sell) and/or are not open to anything other than regular medication. This is because they hardly receive any nutritional and behavioral knowledge in their education. You also have the personality of your vet. Is he/she open to other things? Or does he/she stand firm for what they believe and sell themselves? YOU are still the owner of your pet so you can make the final decision. I am always open to a friendly, honest cooperation and communication with your vet.
